IMTO Network

How IMTO works

From personally reviewed access to first use: workflows for dispatchers and transport partners, with fees explained by role.

Have your IMTO access reviewed.

The request and review are free. IMTO personally reviews the organisation, activity and legitimate interest. Only after approval is an account provided and activation sent by email.

After approval: set your password and sign in

Administration provides access after personal review. The password-setting email may appear as a password-reset message. First login takes dispatchers to case intake and transport partners to their profile. Setting a password does not automatically enable a disabled or unapproved account.

Dispatch

First use as a dispatcher

After approval and password activation, the first login opens case intake. Enter transfer case details there, not on the public website.

  1. Enter the case: add route, contacts, dates and special requirements. Operational case intake takes place in the app, not the public form.
  2. Clarify prerequisites: check documents and open issues; for an estimate, account for the intended client decision.
  3. Prepare award: publish the transport requirement, compare submitted bids and record award in the intended procurement workflow.
  4. Follow execution: track partner and driver assignments, confirmed updates, delays and correction requests on the case.
  5. Review completion: bring together handover confirmation, document list and other recorded evidence. Clarify outstanding questions with participants.

Transport partners

First use as a transport partner

After approval and password activation, the first login opens your profile. Complete your business details and add an actual depot with its address. Bids and new tour starts require a location.

  1. Prepare the profile: complete business details and add an actual depot with its address. Driver accounts belong to the organisation.
  2. Assess the tender: compare route, dates and requirements with your capacity. A reduced view does not contain all case details.
  3. Submit a bid: enter price, proposed dates and site. Only a recorded award turns it into an assigned order.
  4. Organise the trip: assign active drivers from your organisation. Record trip start, pickup, waiting times and deviations in the mobile workflow.
  5. Record handover and return: obtain receipt and document-list confirmation, enter mileage and record return to the depot.

Transport price and network fee are separate

Access requests, personal review and approval are free. Dispatch pays the assignment-based network fee for dispatch-managed orders; the client pays for a direct tender without dispatch. 50% is due at award and 50% after successful completion. This fee is not deducted from the transport partner’s bid price. The fee is tiered; the calculation belongs to the individual assignment, not a flat website price.

Fictional workflow example

One cross-border transfer, several responsible parties

A dispatch team plans a transfer from Germany to France. Before award, the route, dates, transport prerequisites and documents need clarification. A partner submits a bid and receives the assignment; an assigned driver records execution and handover at the destination. IMTO links these steps to the case. This example describes a workflow, not an available offer or a guarantee that the transfer can be performed.

What the platform supports — and what needs separate clarification

IMTO operates the platform and coordination network. The appointed partner performs the transport. The parties check each assignment’s prerequisites, required releases and original documents. An app status does not replace an official decision. The five interface languages do not translate document contents.
