IMTO Network

IMTO platform features

Case intake, costing, awards, driver and tour coordination, documents and handovers: an overview of the IMTO app’s work areas.

01

Case & order management

Dispatch and authorised clients enter route, dates, contacts, priority and special requirements. The case record links these details to subsequent steps. Military cases have additional fields. Required details and transport prerequisites must be checked for each assignment.

02

Transport network & awards

Tenders show a reduced transport requirement. Partners submit bids with price, proposed dates and depot. The award workflow accounts for responsible dispatch or the direct client. Award links the bid to the case; an open tender is not yet an assignment.

03

Dispatch & tour control

Transport legs link pickup, destination and participating providers. Partners assign active drivers from their organisation. Actual depots are managed with addresses and selected for bids or trip starts. Confirmed statuses and reported delays support coordination; they do not replace automatic tracking.

04

Documents & approvals

Document entries distinguish processing status, required physical originals and intended visibility. Participants can record receipt, review and confirmation of originals. These statuses are not automatic official authenticity checks. Views depend on role and status; required originals still need separate attention.

05

Mobile driver cockpit

The mobile cockpit accompanies assigned trips from depot through pickup and handover to return. Drivers record mileage, waiting times and deviations at the intended step. They receive access through their organisation. Starting a new trip requires an actual site.

06

Digital handover

For certain handovers, a recipient can confirm via a separate QR/handover link without an app account. The final handover records recipient, document list, confirmations, signature and mileage. Assigned driver and transport status are checked server-side. Confirmation does not replace required approval.

07

Estimates & billing

Costing details, bid prices and recorded mileage or waiting times support assignment assessment. The network fee is tracked separately according to the intended role model. A calculation is not a payment, and the platform is not a blanket substitute for the business’s invoice checks.

08

Timeline & audit

The case timeline links recorded events and processing states. For certain changes, the backend also writes logs with verified user identity, role, organisation and time. These records support questions and internal clarification. This does not promise certified or legally indisputable archiving.

09

Communication & tasks

Tasks, issues, notes and notifications keep clarification needs linked to the case. After award, the client can request a correction; the participating partner responds and responsible coordination decides within the intended workflow. Case-related partner contacts support necessary personal coordination.

What the platform supports — and what needs separate clarification

IMTO operates the platform and coordination network. The appointed partner performs the transport. The parties check each assignment’s prerequisites, required releases and original documents. An app status does not replace an official decision. The five interface languages do not translate document contents.
