Fewer questions and fragmented updates: IMTO connects case records, awards, transport status and handovers in a role-based workflow.
When routes, contacts and documents are scattered across emails and spreadsheets, the current position is difficult to identify. IMTO links these details to a case record. Participants find the views, decisions and open issues intended for their work area there.
Pickup, delay, waiting time and handover are concrete operational steps. Drivers can record them on mobile; dispatch and other participants follow the confirmed progress in their views. This supports updates based on recorded reports. It is not a promise of automatic GPS tracking.
Partners assess tenders and submit bids from an actual depot. Award is followed by driver assignment and execution. Procurement and execution therefore stay linked to the same case. Capacity, route and dates must be checked for each assignment.
If an awarded assignment changes, a correction request supports coordination between client, partner and dispatch. The final handover records the recipient, document list, confirmations and signature. This creates traceable reference points; quality also depends on complete and accurate entries.
Fictional workflow example
A dispatch team plans a transfer from Germany to France. Before award, the route, dates, transport prerequisites and documents need clarification. A partner submits a bid and receives the assignment; an assigned driver records execution and handover at the destination. IMTO links these steps to the case. This example describes a workflow, not an available offer or a guarantee that the transfer can be performed.
